Coastal Energy Company is committed to continuous improvement in all our standards and practices and we believe that excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility is an essential element of good business practice.
Company personnel and contractors are responsible for ensuring compliance with this Policy and specifically to:
Business Ethics
- Behave with honesty and integrity in all our activities and relationships with others;
- Ensure compliance with Coastal’s HSES Management System by all personnel involved in our operations; and
- Ensure our suppliers and contractors abide by our standards

Human Rights
- Respect the different cultures and rights of individuals and indigenous peoples in all countries in which we operate;

- Assist in the development of local community programmes in consultation with local government, the public and other local community stakeholders.
Management Systems
- Provide clear direction and training on key Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, policies and procedures; and
- Set key Corporate Social Responsibility targets and establish a cycle of audit and review to monitor our performance.
